I was born and raised in Jiangsu, a province on the east coast of China famous for its native cultures preserved in gardens, temples and mountains. The province, also well known for its tasty cuisine and beautiful natural scenery, is home to about 100-million people, or one-tenth of China's population.

I developed a passion for international education during my junior year at undergraduate studying abroad in South Carolina as an exchange student. After receiving a bachelor’s degree in English with an emphasis on Journalism in Shanghai, China, I set out to pursue a M.A. in International Education Management at Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey (MIIS).

I am passionate about international student service, program design and assessment in higher education and interested in working with Chinese international students on American campuses and students who want to study abroad in China.

Despite my passion in international education, I am also an Online English Teacher at Education First (EF) teaching Chinese adults English. I really enjoy spending time with students and still maintain contact with them despite the distance.

In my free time I love photography, reading and swimming and enjoy the California sunshine!
